SAM CHAPPLE, MOst, Med Acu.
Sam graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2015 achieving a Masters Degree in Osteopathy. During his four years of training, Sam worked within a clinical environment successfully treating a wide variety of patients, of all ages, presenting with varying complaints. In conjunction with this, Sam is also a fully qualified Sports Massage Therapist achieving an accredited ITEC Diploma in 2014, and has worked privately since then. In particular, Sam has worked with athletes training towards the London Marathon, Bodybuilders and Semi-Professional Footballers throughout the football season. More recently Sam completed a course in Medical Acupuncture with OMT Training learning techniques to help a range of aches and pains.
With an extensive sporting background, particularly within Football, Sam understands both the mental and physical demands of sport enabling him to develop effective rehabilitation programmes to aid recovery from injury and a return to sport. Thus, Sam holds a special interest in sporting injuries and rehabilitation; this was reflected in the topic of choice for his Masters Level Dissertation surrounding injury to the Anterior Cruciate Ligament of the Knee.
Sam is a fully registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (Reg-9329) and is fully insured for all therapies with Balens Insurance Brokers Ltd.
